Proofreading & Editing
Sometimes you know what message you want to convey, but you need help refining it. Editing is my specialty at Mark My Words. You can choose your rate based on the depth of your needs — longer pieces are typically billed by the hour while shorter pieces are typically billed by the page.
Proofreading is the lightest type of editing, focusing on grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Content editing goes one step further, evaluating the overall flow of a piece. If I have to do a sizable amount of research to understand your topic and the work you're doing, that service falls under editing requiring research.
